She tried to do everything in her power to actually NOT take a spiritual path -- as some of her friends and mentors suggested to her. Even trying her hardest, she eventually succumbed to the idea that there was a higher power calling her to do more with her life and follow in the path of enlightening others as well. Eventually, Harvey was ordained and became the Reverend at the church in Niantic first in the early 2000's, and then later again in 2008, where she has now served since.
