Zambia Safari at Lolelunga | Private Wildlife Reserve, Night Drives & Conservation

The conversation explores how guests reach Lolelunga from Lusaka, what the lodge experience is like, and why this part of Zambia offers a very different kind of safari. From game drives and walking safaris to canoeing, fishing, birding, stargazing and all-night wildlife viewing, the reserve gives guests access to activities that go far beyond the traditional safari routine.

One of the biggest differences is that Lolelunga operates as a private fenced wildlife reserve. Unlike many national parks in Zambia, guests are not restricted by the same evening curfews, allowing guides to stay out much later in search of nocturnal species such as aardvark, pangolin and civet.
